Romina Hallan is an associate lawyer at Jain Immigration Law.
Romina practices in all areas of Canadian immigration law. Romina has represented clients during the judicial review process of negative decisions, and has appeared before the Immigration Appeal Division and the Refugee Protection Division (“RPD”). Her expertise includes but is not limited to: labour market impact assessments, spousal sponsorships with inadmissibility issues, humanitarian and compassionate claims, refugee claims, and judicial review. Notably, Romina has successfully overturned an RPD decision at the Refugee Appeal Division, after identifying and arguing the board member’s errors in credibility findings.
Romina has a Honour’s Bachelor’s of Arts degree in criminology from York University. She earned a dual law degree from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2022, and was called to the bar in March of 2024. Before joining Jain Immigration Law, Romina completed her articling and practiced at a boutique immigration law firm in Toronto.
